PPF Unveils New Statement of Investment Principles
The Minister for Finance and Minister for Social and Family Affairs have announced major reforms of future State, private and public service pension provision in Ireland. The ‘National Pensions Framework’ is the result of a public consultation that began in October 2007, to tackle issues such as the ageing population, income adequacy in retirement and ensuring the sustainability of public finances. The Government is reviewing many areas of the current occupational and voluntary pension provision. The key elements of the new framework announced are:
To complement our existing administration strength, our vision is to become the provider of choice for actuarial, pensions and investment consulting. To achieve this, in recent years we have focused on building our consultancy services via strategic acquisitions. As a result we have a first-rate team of specialists who use their expertise and experience to help clients with the complex business of running all aspects of their pension schemes. The time has come for them to be recognised in their own right, with a new name and brand which will work to promote their valuable work.
It was recently announced that Capita Tracing Solutions (CTS) has become part of the Capita Hartshead brand. This now allows the business to offer a fully integrated pensions data analysis, cleansing and tracing service and follows the recent announcement that we will also provide free access to its datA+ essentials service to all UK pension schemes.
As Corporate pensions administration and solutions specialists, we are pleased to say we have completed the move of over 450 of our Sheffield-based employees to our new purpose-built, eco-friendly, headquarters. According to local tradition, the building has already acquired a nickname, ‘the Enterprise’ due to its streamlined contours and ‘Star Trek’ elliptical roof feature.
