Trustees are facing increasing pressure to improve the quality of their pension scheme data. The Pension’s Regulator’s guidance of 2009 is set to become Regulation in 2010 with enforcement action to be expected. While complying with regulation and avoiding censure and fines is a strong reason to understand and improve data integrity there are a number of compelling fiduciary and financial reasons why data integrity makes good sense. Our breakfast seminar explores this topic in more detail.

The PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship is an accredited qualification for Trustees or for those interested in Trusteeship. The syllabus is based on the Pensions Regulators Guidance for Trustee Knowledge and Understanding in line with the requirements of the Pensions Act 2004. The onus is on Trustees to evidence their knowledge and understanding in relation to their role and has again been recently highlighted by the Regulator. Our two day course will help delegates update and consolidate their knowledge in this area. This is an interactive course which culminates with a specially arranged sitting of the examination at the end of the course.
